Adding Value #8

Client received EPC bids from two contractors. While the client was reviewing commercial terms, schedule, etc. RCE performed a technical review. RCE pointed out to the client that neither bid produced on-spec products. The bidders were queried and admitted that they did not meet the specs, but that their designs offered “better value”. Major re-work of the process design ensued and bids revised by contractors to produce on-spec products. Getting the right results (products) and adding value is what we do at RCE.
